WIN BIG Raffle tickets are on sale now for a 2018 GEHL skid steer worth over $36,000. Proceeds will benefit community service programs in the region through Interlakes Area United Way (IAUW). Tickets are $100 each and only 500 will be sold.
The winner will be awarded a 2018 Gehl R105 Skid Loader, which comes nicely equipped with full cab enclosure with heat and defrost, deluxe seat plus seat belt and seat bar, T-bar controls, fenders and an engine block heater. It also features 27.00 x 10.50 x 15.00 flotation tires, a 60" utility bucket, auxiliary hydraulics and a 3-cylinder diesel engine. As equipped, the machine retails at $36,225.
The WIN BIG Raffle typically generates about one-third of IAUW's annual funding and helps support more than 40 non-profit programs and agencies in Lake, Miner and Moody County.
IAUW has teamed up with long-time raffle partner Lake County International (LCI) plus Manitou Group (Manitou) and other local employers to sponsor the raffle.
"We are incredibly grateful for the commitment from local business leaders," said IAUW President Lori Gustaf. "This annual event is a major fundraising effort for our organization and we couldn't be nearly as successful without help from Lake County International, Manitou and others."
LCI and Manitou are the raffle's leading sponsors with additional support from East River Electric Power Cooperative, Heartland Consumers Power District, First Bank & Trust, Great Western Bank and Wells Fargo Bank of Madison. Rivers Edge Bank of Howard, First National Bank of Flandreau and Landis Ag of Colman have also signed on as first-time sponsors.
"IAUW supports programs in a three-county region, so we really appreciate the participation and help from businesses throughout our entire service territory," Gustaf said. "It also gives people more options to purchase tickets."
Tickets are available online or at the raffle sponsors' places of business. You can also buy tickets at KJAM Radio and Dakota Ethanol.
The winner will be drawn Thursday, September 6 at half-time of the DSU Ag Bowl.
